RISD Quickies is a peer-to-peer workshop series that taps into RISD's most valuable resource - its students.
Quickies created a marketplace to connect student instructors with peers who would like to learn new skills on the fly.
In two years we were able to grow the organization from about 30 yearly participants to over 600.
We accomplished this with a mix of organizational design, great marketing, and a big social media presence.
One source of growth for Quickies was a website that we would be able to rapidly update to keep students abreast of new classes, and changes to the schedule.
