About

I'm a "designer who codes" who views problems through the lens of play, learning, and technology. I'm at Sudowrite where I lead design of AI (for the nerds, "large language models") for writing and creativity. Earlier, I worked at Google ATAP where I designed and prototyped interactions with new technologies to influence Google's device roadmap. I'm also the creator of FlipTales, a roleplaying game which was funded on Kickstarter. Before that, I was a product designer at littleBits.

Past freelance clients I’ve been lucky to collaborate with include Ought, Follies, Redscout, Reach Labs, Polymaker, Anji Play, and the Museum of Ice Cream. My secret talents are skipping stones, playing accordion and speaking Mandarin.

I'm very friendly: Email Me, Tweet @ Me, resumé. I love to speak with design students, talk about Anji Play and FlipTales, and try out early versions of products and give feedback. If you're reading this and think we would get along - reach out!
